The routine is to be ready to leave at 7AM. Bob stops at the room to pick us up in the rental Van. Off to Bob Evans for breakfast then to the boat. Working to get her ready until about sunset – off to dinner, bed and to start over the next day. My part in getting her ready was to get the living quarters clean. I knew early on she would not be pretty but would be clean, by God!

Patrick and Victor had already vacuumed and removed most of the “stuff” from the crew quarters and “sun room”. We have no water. Many things have been accomplished. Bobby made and replaced doors he brought with him from VA. Last week-end. He also hung the interior doors. The main focus has been on the water system. Every time one thing is fixed another problem occurs. We planned on leaving today, but with no water system we have no heat, toilets, sinks and etc. On the way to the boat we stopped at the Hardware store (seems Bob is a bit of a celebrity in town – my guess is some has to do with his pumping up the economy of this little town of Coraopolis and that he is the new owner of Mr. Bibber’s boat that has been so much a part of the history here residing on the river for the past 30 years or so) and I found a cleaning solution that we could use without water. Works like a charm. Poor Ronnie has spent most of the day in the bilge and in the water tanks welding and applying epoxy to plug up the holes in the tank
